Starting from November 19, 2023, from 8 AM to 3 PM, the Auréliens school group is organizing a toy fair on the forecourt and parking lot of the nursery school located on Avenue Général Norbert Riera. The funds raised from this friendly and family-oriented garage sale will be donated to the schools. Saturday, December 9, 2023, the illumination of Saint-Raphaël
Starting at 5:30 PM at the cultural center, the city’s illumination will be triggered thanks to the numerous Christmas decorations installed since November 1. Over 463,000 LED bulbs will be lit every day until 1 AM to save up to 73% of energy. But let’s not be mistaken; Christmas illuminations remain the specialty of the city of the archangel, which has decided to bring the magic of Christmas to both young and old.
From 6:00 PM, the Christmas parade will begin its musical wanderings throughout the city. A new enchanting projection will adorn the basilica, and a fireworks display by the seaside will conclude this day.

By the sea, on the Lattre de Tassigny promenade, the Saint-Raphaël Christmas market will consist of around thirty chalets offering delicacies and traditional products linked to the end-of-year celebrations.

As every year, the Miograno association organizes the Santon fair in the Riculphe hall of the Fréjus town hall, open from 10 AM to 6:30 PM. Over 25 santonniers from all over Provence will present their creations. Classic santons depicting the Nativity scene, as well as more modern figurines representing celebrities like the famous Professor Raoult or embodying modern professions (ice cream vendor, restaurateur, athletes), can be found. Santa Claus and his elves are also represented, along with an countless number of animals. All these clay santons, as tradition dictates, are exclusively handmade and hand-painted. A visual delight for both young and old not to be missed in the Riculphe hall of the Town Hall from December 2 to 20, 2023.
