The Christmas festivities will begin on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 6:00 p.m., when the city will be illuminated by numerous Christmas decorations installed throughout. A route starting from the Cultural Center will invite passersby to stroll through the city’s illuminated streets, where they’ll encounter a magical parade featuring 44 artists dressed in extraordinary costumes. Stilt walkers, jugglers, and fantastical animals will enchant the city center to the sounds of Christmas music.

Once the parade reaches the Basilica of Notre Dame, a sound and light show will illuminate the basilica.

At the end of the parade, Bonaparte Garden will sparkle with thousands of lights, delighting both young and old.

Once again, the City of the Archangel has dedicated itself to bringing the magic of Christmas to all ages.

The 463,000 LED lights and decorations, made from recycled plastic bottles, will light up the city every day until 1:00 a.m. to help manage energy costs.
